All bank details required to process payments are encrypted using SSL protocol. They are not stored on our IT systems under any circumstances.
Donation pooling
Médecins du Monde does not earmark donations, instead it pools all the funds received across its missions. This clear principle allows the organisation to act solely based on actual needs in the field, rather than financial considerations or the high media coverage of some emergency situations. Consequently, if the donations received exceed the commitments made, they will be reallocated to other programmes as needed.
