• What types of donations can I make to Médecins du Monde?

  The support of our donors is essential to enable Médecins du Monde to operate independently in Switzerland and internationally.

   

  We offer several donation options for the general public. In addition to one-off donations and regular donations, you can also make a bequest. Furthermore, we encourage creative and solidarity-based initiatives, which are excellent ways to support our work. Every contribution, whatever its form, helps us to continue our humanitarian mission.

  In addition to legal requirements (annual publication, audits, controls, etc.), the association has implemented additional measures to guarantee its donors a high level of transparency and ensure rigorous management of donations:

• Can I allocate my donation?

  Pooling donations at Médecins du Monde

  Médecins du Monde applies the principle of pooling donations, which means that the funds received are not allocated to a specific mission but distributed across all of our actions.

  This approach allows us to intervene where the needs are most urgent, without being influenced by financial constraints or media coverage of certain crises. Thus, if the donations received exceed the commitments made for a given action, the funds can be redirected to other priority programmes.
